Eight Directions of Later Heaven

In this drawing one observes the Sequence of Later Heaven as arranged by King Wan. Here opposites are not balanced with each other and neither is there a balance around the circle. It has been presented and propagated as the valid system for the chaos of the times. Unfortunately it was accepted as such.

While King Wan’s system might have some numerological validity, it certainly lacks sufficient astuteness for astronomical or astrological deliberation.

The only place in the universe where opposites are not opposite is in King Wan’s Sequence of Later Heaven!

Unfortunately much of Chinese medicine, Feng Shui and the martial arts rely on King Wan’s Sequence of Later Heaven.
